Hi organisers,
We have been doing the Ripper for about 6 years now and have enjoyed them all. We bring between 8 & 12 riders down from Cambridge. we normally do a rain dance to make sure it slippery, not dusty.
Some feedback on the 09 ride, the way we see it.
Saturdays track was awesome. A perfect blend of farm tracks and bush. Nice and slippery which puts the challenge into it. A credit to the planners.
The Sunday track set up was a lot better this year with two smaller loops rather than one huge one. It gives the opportunity to take not such good riders round the first loop then go out and have a blast on the second one. Good idea.
Respectfully, the Sunday tracks need a bit of bush or some hard stuff in them. Not just all farm tracks. Can you re-open Saturday's track again on the Sunday? Too much farm land can get a bit monotonous.
Anyway, it was a top ride this year, made even better with a bit of rain. Top marks to all who organised.

Hi,
Two years ago I got choppered out of the ripper with a broken back, after going over a bank that was a right hand bend at the end of a flat paddock, I was not the first person down there, but had gone over the edge the fastest, and landed the hardest.
I put this down to a number of factors, one being that I found it had no visible signs that it was a drop off at the end of a flat out paddock, one other major factor was as I was hooning along the paddock the track looked like it was going over a roll over, as I could see tracks going through the other side in line with the line I was riding. You maybe able to remember this.
The reason for me writing to you now, is that I have just returned from one of the best rides I have been on for a long time, and it was the ripper, your sign's were good, plenty of them, in the places they needed to be, there were marshals at good space intervals. The splitting of the track with an A and B loop kept the crowds down, stopping the carnage of bikes bottle necking, not forgetting the fact it was damp with excellent traction, just awesome.

I wanted to email you so it can be recorded, and give your team a big pat on the back for an event professionally run and organised.

Every year it just gets better.

Thanks and keep up the good work!!

Thanks for a great weekend this year guys, the 2 days were both good. I enjoyed Sunday the best. Hats off to all the organisers as a weekend like that would take a hell of a lot of work. I have heard of the event over the years and it was definitely were the trip from Brisbane. Just a pity most of the riders want to make a race out of in instead of taking a good look at the scenery. God willing I may be able to do it again one day.
